@Addey: Hi Addey, I wish I could say it was some incredible groundbreaking technique that I pioneered. What I did was...hold the camera reallllly still, wait until some people were driving by really fast, and *clicked*. The trick is to make sure your shutter isn't too fast, which would just freeze the action. If I recall, I did set Shutter priority to ensure a slow enough shutter speed to allow the blur. An alternative shot would be to pan the camera with the subject while clicking, which would make them in focus, but everything else blurry, giving the impression of great speed on your subject.
